Open Mic in Hawley PA! Come Show Off Your Skills.

Open Mic Night in Hawley PA recurring every 1st Friday of the month beginning September 6th, 2013! If you live or are in the Pocono Mountains and feel your spot is on a stage entertaining then this is a great way to put yourself out there. This will be going down at the Cocoon Coffee House in Hawley on 230 Welwood Ave. To sign up you simply need to write your name in a slot of the sign up board. Even if you're not performing it can be a great time to watch some of our talented local Pocono residents give it their all and to enjoy a good show. Who knows, the next big thing might just be coming from the Pocono Mountains!

Entertainment and Concerts coming to the Poconos

Some great entertainment always finds its way to the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Whether it is at Cove Haven Resort, Penns Peak, Mount Airy Casino, Montage Mountain, or The Sherman Theater, hot acts are always stopping through the Mountain on their way to one of the big cities to rock Northeastern PA. - August 23rd, 2013 - Hoobastank & Alien Aunt Farm are coming to Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe PA of the Poconos. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Show starts at 8 PM.

-  August 30th to September 1st. Labor Day Music Festival - a treat for christian music lovers with concerts, outdoor chicken bbq, God honoring fellowship. The Brunner Family, The Talleys, and Vocal Union.


August 24th, 2013 - Hip Hop Legends Mobb Deep are coming to The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg PA. Bringing East Coast to the front in Stroudsburg!

The Fall Foliage Festivals will be here in the Pocono Mountains before we know it. Fall, my personal favorite time of year is when the Festivals start popping up everywhere on the Mountain. Nothing but pumpkin pie, colored leaves, cool mountain air, and a good fire on the fireplace. Come on down to Mount Pocono Harvestfest in downtown Mount Pocono on September 28th, 2013 and The Harvest Festival at Dingmans Ferry on September 21st, 2013. Both fun filled fall festivals include family activities such as live music, children's activities, local food, crafts, exhibits, animal presenters, and much more. So grab a hoodey and some hot cocoa and come on down to a couple of the Pocono's most famous Fall Foliage Festivals this September!

Summer is on its way out here in the Pocono Mountains, but there is still time to get together with the family and enjoy the final days of Summer in one of our finest Pocono Communities, Pocono Resorts, Cabins, or just to come up and enjoy a road trip to the Poconos. The weather is still in the 80s by day, but at night its only slowly getting just a little colder with Fall right around the corner. The pools and lakes are still open for Summer time activities such as swimming, boating, canoeing, fishing, or just laying on the beach in a Pocono Community such as Arrowhead Lakes!
